QUALIFICATIONS
Green at Heart has accreditation with ABSA (Association of Building Sustainability Assessors) and utilise BERS Prosoftware and Section J of the BCA for assessments. We also have qualifications in Architecture, Sustainability Management, Green Plumbing and have Greensmart Homes HIA accreditation and are certified Federal Government Sustainability Assessors.
We are also members of the BDAQ and practice under BSA licensing.

Andrew has 20 years experience in the construction industry. He is a qualified Energy Efficiency Assessor and the owner of QLD Energy Ratings the first and most well known Energy Efficiency Rating consultancy in Far North Queensland.
Andrew has completed Sustainability Management training through Sustainability Victoria and can perform assessments on your home. Andrew is also trained as an Australian Government Sustainability Assessor.

Sophie is President of the BDAQ NQ Branch. She studied Architecture at Sydney University achieving honours awards for excellence. She also worked for 6 years at the City of Sydney on the team redesigning Sydney for the Olympics. She has spent the past 7 years custom designing houses in the tropics with most of this time working for Queensland’s most renowned environmental building designer ‘Chris Vandyke’.
She has won several State and National design awards, and awards for environmental design through the BDAQ.
Sophie is available to discuss changes to the architectural features of your home and advise on best design for energy efficiency.
